 What's New for the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport?
The remarkable Ford Bronco Sport is a capable, well-appointed crossover SUV with iconic branding. As a compact model, it is a smaller yet still rugged version of the Bronco. While the 2025 Bronco Sport is comparable to its predecessor in many areas, it introduces a few improvements to take your driving experience to the next level.
If you choose the Outer Banks or Badlands trim level, you can now add the Sasquatch package to your Bronco Sport. The package adds new 29-inch wheels, elevated ground clearance, steel skid plates, steel bumpers, rear recovery hooks, and a front bull bar. With the Badlands trim, the Sasquatch package also includes remote reservoirs with Bilstein rear dampers.
Several additional enhancements have been added to the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport. For example, the 8-inch infotainment system screen offered in 2024 has been replaced by a 13.2-inch screen. The Sync3 infotainment software has been replaced by the Sync4 system. The 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and adaptive cruise control have become standard for all trims in 2025. A few minor aesthetic touches have been made to the bumpers.
The two powertrains offered with the 2024 Bronco Sport are also available in 2025. Most trims have a three-cylinder, turbo 1.5-liter engine with 180 horsepower. The top-of-the-line Badlands trim has a 238-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 2.0-liter engine. Across the board, all trims have all-wheel drive, GOAT drive modes, and an eight-speed auto transmission. Select trims also have trail control, an off-road suspension system, and an upgraded differential.
With the exception of the new features introduced in 2025, the Bronco Sport carries all of the features offered in the 2024 model year's trims. Some of these are a navigation system, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, rear parking sensors, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, a sunroof, a household power outlet, an auto climate control system, remote monitoring, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, heated front seats, a universal garage door opener, satellite radio, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot warning, and several additional features.
