2025 Ford F-150 vs 2024 Ford F-150

Serving Charlotte, NC

For decades, the Ford F-150 truck has been a preferred model for drivers in need of a powerful, well-equipped truck. This full-size truck benefitted from substantial improvements in 2024, so Ford has not made updates between the 2024 and 2025 model years. The F-150 meets many drivers’ needs with nine trim levels, three cab styles, and three bed lengths available.

Performance

Across the trim levels, the 2024 and 2025 F-150 trucks are available with a hybrid engine as well as five gas engines. The turbo V6 hybrid engine offers 430 combined horsepower. The first gas engine is a 325-horsepower, turbo 2.7-liter, V6 unit. In addition, some trims are available with a 5.0-liter, V8, 400-horsepower engine or a turbo 3.5-liter, V6, 400-horsepower system. A more powerful version of this V6 engine is also available, and it produces 450 horsepower. A supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine delivers 720 horsepower in the Raptor R trim level.

Appearance

The 2024 and 2025 Ford F-150 have a strong design, large dimensions, and recognizable body language. The hood is tall and well-defined. On the nose, the wide grille is subtly curved at the sides. The LED-bolstered headlights stand tall for a commanding look. Over the F-150’s sides, you will find deep definition rounding over the fenders and tracing the lower door panels.

Features

The Ford F-150 XL, which is the base trim level for 2024 and 2025, is outfitted with the features you need for a comfortable drive. These include a digital instrument panel, a 12-inch touch display screen, a Sync 4 infotainment system, wireless smartphone app connections, keyless entry, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot warning system, and rear auto braking. Some or all of the higher F-150 trims also have lane centering, leather upholstery, a BlueCruise system, adaptive cruise control, ambient cabin lighting, a heated steering wheel, massaging front seats, heated seats in both rows, a dual-panel moonroof, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, a fold-down work surface, a wireless phone charger, and additional features.
