What's New for the 2019 Ford Fusion?
This mid-size sedan is as versatile as it gets. Meet the 2019 Ford Fusion, a vehicle with ample trims to suit its many picky customers. With hybrid and Energi versions, you'll have plenty to choose from as you configure this one. And trims are plentiful: S, SE, SEL, Titanium, and V6 Sport for those who are crazy about performance. The SE, SEL, and Titanium trims all come in Hybrid, and the Titanium features an Energi trim for those who demand efficiency above all else. It's an exciting lineup for this mid-size sedan that all too frequently gets overlooked in its class. We're here to show you why you should take a second, third, and final look at the Fusion before you take it home with you. We'll focus primarily on the S base model.
The 2.5L i-VCT Engine with 6-Speed Automatic Transmission is standard for the S model. It comes in many exciting colors: Agate black, blue, Ruby Red, Ingot, and Magnetic (ask about additional colors!). The standard engine gives you a respectable 175 horsepower, but there's so much more to choose from. A .5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine kicks things up to 181 horsepower, a 2.0-liter turbo-four kicks things up to 245 horsepower, and for those who want maximum power, there's the 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that's good for 325 horsepower. You won't find a more versatile engine lineup in this class. But what about controlling all this power? Well, you've got Ford Co-Pilot360 to take care of things like lane keeping, auto high beam headlights, and rear view camera, and this system is standard on ALL models, so you never have to worry if Co-Pilot360 is going to be on your Fusion. It most certainly will be! And there's plenty more to appreciate about the Fusion: 4.2" driver configurable LCD display in instrument cluster, Push Button Start, Brake Assist, and as comfortable an interior as you'll find in this price range. Cloth front bucket seats, Sirius XM, and Sync 3 are standard on the SE, a great choice if you want a middle of the road solution. Versatility is the name of the game for the Fusion, a vehicle that is going to let you customize your sedan experience from beginning to finish.
