Our Ford dealership holds a significant place in Sonic Automotive history. Founded in 1967, Town & Country Ford was the first-ever Sonic dealership and set the stage for other stores to follow. The dealership was originally purchased by automotive entrepreneur O. Bruton Smith, who would later found Sonic Automotive.

Our staff includes four team members who have each worked with us for nearly 40 years. Several team members have over 20 years of experience. Even our GM has been with Town and Country Ford for more than 25 years. These professionals have decades of experience working at our Ford dealership and have served generations of Charlotteans.
Our service shop has over 300 years of combined experience, while our sales team has over 260. Even our parts department has 60 years of combined experience.
